What types of projects do you specialize in?
JDSI specializes in structural & architectural design for the following types of projects; custom & spec residential homes in windstorm areas, extensions to homes, patio covers, PEMB foundation design, drainage plans.
Does JDSI design commercial buildings?
JDSI does not compile the architectural drawings for a commercial build, but we can consult on the structural side of those projects.
Does JDSI design MEP plans?
JDSI can design simple HVAC plans. We can include other information such as the manual J report.

JDSI can design an electrical plan showing the location of electrical hardware. We do not create voltage diagrams or calculations. Please see a master electrician for information regarding voltage diagrams & calculations.

When should I schedule my inspection?
As soon as you have a tentative start date. If that date changes, notify JDSI ASAP.
Do I need to be present for my inspection?

While you are more than welcome to be, in most cases no. If for some reason your presence is required, we will let you know.

How will I receive my WPI-8?

Once TDI has issued the WPI-8, it will be available to print from their website, using the public search tool.
